Class Schedule:
Friday, September 12: Learn the foundations of hat shaping, how hats are made and different types of materials. Begin shaping straw crowns and work on various crown styles in the afternoon.
Saturday, September 13: Focus on brim shaping for straw hats. A field trip to a leading hat manufacturing facility, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the production processes and the chance to open accounts for premium materials. Followed by a visit to NRS. We close the day, relax and unwind with a fun complimentary group dinner in a local restaurant.
Sunday, September 14: Dedicated to felt hat shaping, cleaning, brim cutting and remedial work, followed by a final test. Certificates will be awarded at 5 PM.
